I'm back at it again with another blog. If your a beauty and skincare lover. Your going to love this one. Just recently I have subscribed to a company called Glossy Box, if non of you have heard of it then Glossy Box is a monthly subscription where you receive a box with loads of beauty and skincare goodies and the occasional treat in them. I look forward to receiving my box each month. So how it works is you choose your subscription, either £10.00 a month for 1 month or if you stayed subscribed like myself for 12 months it is £8.50 a month and it is sooooo worth it I love it. Your box is sent to you in a gorgeous pink box with a black ribbon on it, and each box contains makeup, skincare and haircare from all the best brands, some of them are samples and some of them are full sized products which is awesome!!!

This leads me onto this blog about my recent glossy box I received. This time of year you need a box to help you get through them dull, boring and cold evenings. This box is called "winter warmers". It has loads of essentials which will help you get through winter. From hand cream to some delicious teas which are perfect for when your curled up binge watching your favourite shows round the fire, sipping your tea. This has to be so far my favourite box I have received I have been with Glossy box for 3 months and I have loved them all, but this has products which I would genuinely use, and most probably repurchase.


The first product I got my hands on was the MUDMASKY- The Leave- Me- On Winter Mask.
The product I received in the box was a full sized product, 40ml bottle which if you was to purchase online it would cost you £29.00 just for the mask which I got as part of the box which cost me £8.50. It just shows you Glossy box are very generous in what they gift you with each month. Even though I was very fortunate to get this so cheap, I would even go and repurchase it as the product is AMAZING!! With winter fast approaching you need a mask that is going to really moisturise and hydrate your skin. When first applying the mask on your face it is clear which avoids the messiness of other masks. When I first tried it the other evening it felt amazing on my skin, I am someone who generally suffers with dry skin at this time of year and this helps nourish the dry and cracked feeling skin. Since using this my skin has been feeling a lot more nourished and healthier with a natural glow, which is definitely something you want when the weather is dull. I would 100% recccomend this to anyone who suffers with dry skin or just generally wants a product that is moisturising especially for these cold winter months.

Moving onto the next product I got out of the box. Another nourishing product for the skin however this time it is for your hands. Like most people at this time of year you will experience dry, cracked and sore hands. Well Glossy box has sorted that right out for me, with The Ritual of Ayurveda Soothing Hand Balm. Since I got this in my box it has been one of my handbag essentials and I carry it with me everywhere. This hand balm is better than any hand cream you will buy as it isn't as thick and creamy as the other hand cream where it takes ages to sink into your skin, this higher class hand balm is a sweet almond oil with an indian oil to soften, nourish and moisturise your hands all at once. Another bonus to this hand balm is you don't need a lot at a time which allows you to save more. This is more expensive than most hand creams however not as expensive as the last product. It is is definitely and necessity in your bag this winter.

Next is something for your hair. Got to look after your hair at this time of year. I have used these products before so I know I am a massive fan of theses already. Hask Exotics They are hair oils that are little bottles of wonders. They help nourish hair. In the glossy box you receive 1 of 3. I received the Nourishing shine hair oil which is my absolute fave, so Thank you Glossy box for that. They are only little bottles however they are great for travelling with so can be put in your bag for travels or weekends away. Just a little bit of these oils will give your hair a little bit of an extra boost nourishing your hair through the winter months. The beauty behind these oils are they absorb into your hair quickly and provide your hair with that perfect shine with no residue. We all know that hair oil that we have used which made your hair look greasy... Well no worries here they won't do that. When applying the oil you should put it on damp hair to get the best result. I normally do this towards the end of the week when my hair is needing an extra boost and let’s face it you’ve got to treat myself on a Friday so I'm ready for what the weekend consists of. These are super affordable and you can get some of these from your local Superdrug. I forgot about these wonders so I will be purchasing some more next time I go shopping.

Now moving onto a product which I have yet to try, however I have heard amazing reviews about this product. Whilst I only got the tester the full sized one is available to purchase, which I'm sure if it is amazing as the other products I will definitely add it to my skincare range. So the next product which I received in my Glossy Box is a gentle skin cleanser by CETAPHIL. I've never used any of these products so I am super excited to try this out. After reading about this product you only need to add a pea size amount onto your face with some warm water, or alternatively place directly onto your face with a cotton pad. Both ways will result in a silky soft finish to your skin. This cleanser is perfect for anyone with sensitive skin type like me. It is meant to remove any makeup, dirt and impurities without taking the skins natural oils which are vital in this cold weather. One of of the reviews someone quoted:

" Ive seen many people use this on YouTube but I never thought of trying it until super drug sent me a sample. Ever since I've used it every day and bought a few bottles myself. It makes the skin feel lovely and soft. I have combo skin and this really helps to keep my skin plump and oil under control. I have temperamental skin, somedays it is good and other days I have bad breakouts. I am going to try this deluxe mini sometime next week and it quite possibly could be one of my absolute faves and in my everyday routine. Whilst I only got the mini version, the full sized product is super affordable, and you can get this from your local Superdrug store, or possibly boots.

Moving onto a product I have heard people rave about and I have been wanting to try it for agessss. It is the Kandi Cosmetics glow up primer and setting spray. I don't usually wear much makeup during the week at work, however when I next do my full face of makeup this is something I am going to use and I am so excited I have finally got my hands on it after wanting it for a while. The amazing thing about this product is it is not only a primer but also a setting spray, if your someone like me I always forget to put a primer on before my makeup... which I know is a makeup must do. However with this beauty you don't have to worry about this anymore. I have also just recently ran out of my urban decay setting spray which can I just say is amazing and my go to, so I am excited to see if this could be my next go to. I was so happy to receive this and for it to also be a full sized product which is soooo good.

So many people have said the same thing. You all know what it is like, this time of year everything is a bit more dull including your skin. This product will sort you right out. This two in one will keep you glowing all year round. Depending if you wanted a more of a glow finish using this after will giving you that glistening finish you want. You can also use this as a body mist to give you a shimmering look. This product is something I would take away with me when I go on holiday to give you a glowing looking on your natural tan. I can't wait to let you all know what I think of this product, I was thinking of doing a "glammed" up makeup look blog potentially and I could include this in it also.

Finally the last product I got in my winter warmers glossy box, this is nothing beauty, hair or skincare. However it is a necessity during these cold winter months. You guessed it, tea. I absolute love tea. No it isn't your original tetley tea it is a different more expensive tea. They are fruit teas which add a bit of life into your drinks rather than the original everyday breakfast tea. Glossy box have provided me with OFFBLAK tea bags, with two to try. The first one is Spicy Orange & Ginger, and the other one is Forest fruits & Ginger. I am a lover of fruit teas just recently as I drink a lot of tea at work so wanted something different. I decided to take one of these with me to work for a change. I chose the Forest fruits & Ginger. When I first originally read the ginger in tea I thought it was a weird combo. However I was very wrong, the flavours were really balanced out, and the ginger actually wasn't that overpowering like I thought it would of been. I loved fruit tea before and now it is my go to over ordinary tea. Since receiving my glossy box I actually have become obsessed with OFFBLAK tea and I ordered some more from them and I can't wait for them to arrive so I can try even more flavours. So many other people loved these also, if your a tea drinker and want an alternative then I would definitely recommend these. My mum has even switched to fruit tea now, she said to me:

"I am not normally a lover of fruit tea, but these are sooo nice. They don't taste artificial like most teas"
